Viewing the bright lights of the holiday season is a tradition for many in New Brighton, and this year, an event is on offer that will combine enjoying the decorated homes with sampling locally produced craft beers.
The adults-only tour will take ticketholders on a tour of some of the area’s most colorfully decorated homes, and it will also include offerings from three breweries. Flat Earth, 12welve Eyes, and Bad Weather brewing companies will all be represented, and Candyland will be supplying freshly made popcorn to munch on while enjoying the spectacle.
The tour is set to both depart and conclude at Flat Earth Brewing, and a stop has been planned for Rice Park, which will be brightly lit by thousands of lights. The attendees will receive a pint of beer to sample at each of the stops, and they can keep the specially designed tasting glass as souvenir of the fun time they have had. Bottled water will be available, and anyone who purchases a growler of beer can keep it cold in the cooler that will be on the bus.
To help the riders get the most from their brewery tour, the excursion will be led by an experienced and trained tour guide. Tasting glasses and other Corporate Gifts for this type of function can be designed by a local printer.
This opportunity to learn more about the area’s craft brewing community while enjoying the color of the season will be offered on Saturday evenings throughout the month of December. Tickets are being sold for $75 each.
