Although The Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon in-person marathon and 10-mile races are sold out, there is still time to register for the 10K and 5K runs and family events. Virtual runs are also available.
Swag for all Minneapolis runners will include 2021 finisher medals and shirts sporting this year’s Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Logo Design.
The 10K will start at the State Capitol Grounds in St. Paul on Saturday, October 2nd at 7:15 am. Results of the in-person race will be posted on the event’s website and those opting to run virtually can begin posting their times as of October 1. Registration begins at $34 and raises to $63 as the field fills.
The 5K will begins at 8:45 am at the same location and have the same swag. Registration will range from $29 to $57.
Family events include a Family Mile beginning at 10:00 am, a Half Mile at 10:30 am, and Harry & Shelly’s Mascot Invitational at 11:00 am. Swag for the family runs and Toddler Trot at 11:30 am will be medals and cotton short-sleeved T-Shirts. A Diaper Dash at 11:15 am will have little ones crawling 25 to 50 feet to their parents. All family events will take place at the State Capitol Grounds in St. Paul.
A Health and Fitness Expo will take place Friday, October 1 from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm at the Saint Paul River Centre’s lower level, 175 West Kellogg Blvd.
