Seven outstanding individuals that have contributed to the world of flight are being inducted into the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame in late April at the 2022 Induction Banquet.
The event will begin with a cash bar at a social hour beginning at 4:45 pm.
A dinner including Greek salad, chicken breast, smoked gouda, mashed potatoes, and salted caramel cheesecake will follow the social hour. Vegetarian meals must be ordered upon registration.
The award presentation will follow the dinner. The emcee for the ceremony will be Al Malmberg, who is the host of AM 1280’s “World of Aviation.”
This year’s inductees into the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame are Ben Curry, Martin Knutson, Duane Edelman, Tim Callister, Ray Johnson, Kathy Vesely, and Dale Klapmeier. Other recognition at the ceremony will go to the winners of the Best Aviation Writing Awards for the last two years.
Tickets are $75 each and reservations must be made on the event website as no tickets will be available at the site. The deadline for registering is April 18. Guests at events such as this often arrive supplied with Business Cards in case the need for them arises.
