Minneapolis supper club has holiday entertainment

Minneapolis Crooners Supper Club, a classic American nightclub, is offering many holiday performances during December.

For those who enjoy singing, The Big Christmas Sing-along with Jay Fuchs and Doug Anderson will begin the holiday festivities on Sunday, December 1st on the main stage at 5:00 pm.

The Gypsy Mania Quartet "Hot Club" Holiday Show will be at 6:00 pm at the Dunsmore Jazz Room that evening. Reminiscent of a mix of swing jazz and traditional Roma music, this four-man guitar, bass, drums, and violin ensemble will present holiday favorites.

On December 8th, the Jazz Room will feature Cafe Accordion Orchestra: Cafe Christmas, which sees holiday music played on an accordion, mandolin, percussion, bass, and guitar, along with vocals with French, Latin and Bohemian flairs.

For the following Saturday, December 15th, the entertainment will be Riverside Swing Band and Christmas Memories with Sherwin and Pam Linton and the Cotton Kings.

The last Saturday before the big day, December 22nd, the club will feature a Holiday Sing-Along, and a Very Diva Christmas. Divas Lisa Pallen, Daisy Flores Lichty and Lisas Marie Peters will sing a variety of Christmas numbers, from old beloved carols to high-energy holiday tunes of today.

Dinner and cocktails will begin an hour before each performance. Entertainment venues such as this often use nearby printing shops for the printed part of their ad campaigns.

The Crooners Supper Club is located at 6161 Highway 65 NE.
