More than 350 local artists are getting ready for Art Attack 2021, coming in a few days.
The event will offer four floors of open studios, galleries, receptions, demonstrations, exhibitions and interactive activities. Minneapolis art enthusiasts can find jewelry, glass, drawings, furniture, Home Décor, ceramics, and paintings. There will also be photography, sculptures, textiles and fiber items. Guests at events such as this often ask artists for their Business Cards.
Music will be provided by blues and neo-soul guitarist Mwago Kuria and jazz acoustic guitarist Ben Abrahamson. Snacks and drinks may be purchased from Sandy’s Grill & Italian Ice, Potter’s Pasties, and Thirsty Dragon Drinks. A sneak preview will be tomorrow, November 4, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.
Kohlman & Pryor in Studio #315 will show work of gallery artists such as Jil Evans, Jodi Reeb, Betsy Ruth Byer, Kelly Jean Ohl, Judy Snidle, and Cameron Zebrun. The guest artists will be Abby Mouw and James Holmberg.
Art to Frame the World will stage an exhibit on social justice titled “Frame Your Rights.” Activist artist Natialie McGuire and social practice artists Nina Robinson and Cory Favre will have their first collaborative showing during Art Attack in the Solar Arts Building, 711 15th Avenue.
