Minneapolis runners at all paces and levels and those just out for a good walk will be heading to the Everybody's Irish 5k and 10k coming in mid-March.
The route will be one lap around Lake Harriet for the 5k and two laps for the 10k.
Registration will be $67.98 online for race and admission to the beer garden and $29.49 for admission to the beer garden only, and cheer squads and spectators are invited to cheer on their favorite participants.
The beer garden will be hosted by the Brewery Running Series and will feature beer from Minnesota's local breweries. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available also. The beer garden will be open from 9:15 am to noon.
Participants will receive chip timing, free bib-tagged race photos, and souvenir 12 oz. SiliPint glasses that may be used at the event's beer garden. Those participants under 21 will get glasses also. The first 400 finishers will receive commemorative medals.
Participants need to remember to dress in layers, take warm breaks, and pay attention to updates.
Merchandise like the Everybody's Irish hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts and embroidered beanies are often imprinted with the event's logo by local Print shops.
The Loch Harriet Everybody's Irish run will take place rain or shine, Saturday, March 15th beginning at 9:00 am with the race beginning at 9:15 at 4135 W Lake Harriet Parkway.
