Minneapolis runs for St. Judes Hospital and chocolate

Minneapolis runners/walkers are gearing up to run or walk in this year’s Allstate Hot Chocolate Virtual 15K/5K Minneapolis.

Swag will include personalized bibs, insulated full-zip charcoal grey jackets with the event’s Logo Design, two event’s famous hot chocolate packets, two dark chocolate squares, and keepsake medals on ribbons. Each medal is actually a locket containing more chocolate. Goodie Bags will also include Promotional Products from the event sponsors. These virtual run kits will be shipped beginning March 22.

Individual registration will be $40 for both the Virtual 15K and the Virtual 5K. Groups such as running clubs, businesses, and charitable organizations of 15 or more can get discounts.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which has a mission to find cures and save children with serious pediatric diseases, is the official charity of this event. Runners are encouraged to make this a fundraiser and contributions raised can be seen on the 2021 Allstate hot Chocolate 15K/5K Minneapolis Fundraiser leader board.

Those wishing to add to their swag can shop for merchandise at the online store. Many items such as shirts, glasses, gloves, and beanies feature the running man graphic design.

The event will be uploaded on April 10 and runners can upload times, pictures and videos on their EnMotive accounts until June 1. Finisher certificates may be downloaded at that time.
