This year's Hot Chocolate Run in Minneapolis will be held in mid-April.
Runners will have the option of running a 5k starting at 8:10 am, or 10k and 15k beginning at 8:55 am. Individual registration for the 5k is $59, $69 for the 10k, $79 for the 15k, though these prices will rise by $5 after March 31st.
Swag will include full-zip hoodies, and finisher medals featuring this year's Hot Chocolate Run graphic design. As runners cross the finish line, they will be handed finisher Mugs filled with dippables, chocolate fondue, and hot chocolate.
The accompanying Hot Chocolate Expo will take place the day before the race from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm in Exhibit Hall E at the Minneapolis Convention Center, 1301 2nd Avenue. There, participants may pick up their swag and racing bibs, and those who have joined the Cocoa Club will receive their insulated 40 oz. Tumblers, hydro-running hats, and official hot cocoa mix when they pick up their running kits. The public is invited to enjoy chocolate in many Forms, buy Hot Chocolate Run merchandise, and purchase items from local vendors.
Awards will go to the top three female and male winners in each of the three races, and to the winners in each of 13 age categories.
A post-run party will take place with vendors and music in Boom Island Park, 724 Sibley Street NE.
