Minneapolis ready for Winter Carnival 2025

Minneapolis & St. Paul Winter Carnival 2025 will be coming to the Twin Cities metro area next month.

The 11-day Minnesota winter celebration will feature the Ice Palace, ice sculptures, parades, ice rink, and snow maze.

This year's St. Paul’s Winter Carnival King Boreas Grand Day Parade will start down West 7th Street in St. Paul at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 25th.

The Vulcan Victory Torchlight Parade will go along the same route on Saturday, February 2nd, beginning at 5:00 pm.

The 40th annual Saint Paul Winter Carnival Fire & Ice Run 5k, 10k, 15k, the 20k will be one, two, three, and four loops through the fairgrounds. Registration will be $40. The Kids run will cost $35 and will include stocking hats.

Swag for the runners and walkers will include Winter Carnival shirts, carnival buttons and Winter Passes.

The NoK group (those choosing to pay but not run) will step past the starting line, turn around and cross back over the line and continue over to the activities in Vulcan's Snow Park.

The 40th Saint Paul Winter Carnival Fire & Ice Run will begin at 9:00 am, Sunday, January 26th at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, 1265 Snelling Avenue N. Saint Paul.

The festival will take place January 25th through February 3rd at Landmark Center, the Minnesota State Fairgrounds and businesses in downtown Saint Paul.
