Minneapolis looks forward to spring with seasonal show

The Minneapolis Home and Garden Show will be coming for five days in late February, extending into early March.

Over 600 booths will have home and garden products, services, displays, and experts. Busy homeowners can shop, get deals, find quality services and products, and get advice all under one roof. Many like to collect Business Cards from those exhibitors they especially enjoy.

Idea Home will be bringing back its ‘Forever Home’ theme by constructing a home display featuring all aspects of creating interior and exterior spaces full of color, systems, and techniques to create a flexible and safe environment.

The Woods will help people create personal, innovative gardens, and healthy sustainable landscapes and lawns.

HOM Furniture will bring world rug samples, patio concepts, and mattresses. California Closets will have consultants discussing finishes, accessories, and accents for challenging areas.

Mike Rowe host of Dirty Jobs will be on the Main Stage Saturday. Other speakers over the five days will be Matt Raliff speaking about Ready-2-Fruit Mushrooms, Michelle Mero Riedel discussing photography, Minnehaha Falls Landscaping’s Russ Henry, experts on bees Judy Griesedieck and Brooke Sommerfeldt, and Organic Bob LLC owner Bob Dahm.

Adult tickets for this event are $12 online and $14 at the door. Tickets for children from ages 6 to 12 are $4, and younger kids will get in free of charge.

The Minneapolis Home and Garden Show will be February 26 through March 1 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
