The MSP Film Society has announced the return of its Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival, which is slated for mid-May. The event traditionally showcases more than 250 films from more than 70 countries.
Films to be shown will be international and Minnesota-made documentaries, dramas comedy and women in films shorts and features. Themes will include agriculture, action, arts, dance, environmental, photography, sports, teen and thriller.
This will be the 40th year for the event and the dates have been moved to May to accommodate virtual, outdoor and drive-in screenings. All screenings will be available on the MSP Film Society’s Virtual platform.
Many of the films will have virtual filmmaker Questions and Answer sessions after the online screening. Audience Choice ballots will be on a link included with registration e-mail conformations.
General Household admission tickets for a single film viewing are $15 and $19 for Member Household Admission. Student passes are available for $19.99, industry passes for members of Minnesota’s television and film industry are $99.00 and All-access household passes are $250.

The Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival will take place May 13th through the 23rd. Most screenings are scheduled between May 15th and May 23rd.
