Glow Holiday Festival will be returning in mid-November, where Minneapolis guests may stroll through holiday lights and experience 14 stops.
A 60-foot Christmas tree will feature a light show accompanied by synchronized music. Brave attendees may soar for 300 feet, 30 feet above the ground on the Vixen’s Zip Line. Santa will be available for visits in his Santa’s Shack. For a small fee, riders can tube ride 150 feet down to the field from the concourse level.
Other amenities include controlling an interactive tree light show by pedaling Bright Bikes, visiting Spire Alley (a cross between spirograph and a buzzy blacklight poster), and a Reindeer Run through a holiday maze. Little ones may enjoy playing on lighted swings and seesaws in the Penguin Playground, and The Present Palace will be a display of giant glowing presents.
Holiday goodies such as cider, snacks, and hot chocolate will be available for purchase at stations dotted around the venue.
Stocking stuffers and other holiday merchandise will be available in Glow’s gift shop. Some items will be the handywork of local makers.
Many small businesses and creators often have seasonal business card printing done before these events, with cards decorated with reindeer, Christmas trees, and wreaths. These make eye-catching additions when slipped in with purchases.
General admission tickets will run from $12.75 to $20.75 and be available in one-hour timeslots beginning at 5:00 pm from next Thursday, November 16, to December 31. It will be at CHS Field, 360 N Broadway Street St. Paul.
