The 2021 Fringe Festival will offer 139 in-person independently produced live, virtual pre-recorded and virtual live performances during 10 days in mid-August.
Festival attendees will need to pay a $5 Fringe Festival Button fee to access the event.
The festival is committed to producing opportunities for artists from all backgrounds and abilities to connect with audiences in novel ways.
Virtual live and pre-recorded live shows will be available on YouTube. Festival producers upload their pre-recorded live shows and live-streams on YouTube and the compilation will be available to viewers when they buy $10 tickets on the festival’s account. Each show will be approximately 30 minutes long. Many artists will put tip jars on their pages. These donations will go directly to the artist’s payment site.
In-person Independently Produced Shows or IPIPs will be available at venues around the metro area. Each show ticket is $10 plus $3 registration fee. The length of these performances is at the discretion of each show’s producers and will begin either on the hour or on the half hour.
Festival producers of the individual shows will receive 50% of the reservation fees and 75% of the box office receipts.
Fans of specific artists like these often go to the artist’s website and purchase merchandise with the artist’s Logo Design or stylized graphic design.
2021 Minnesota Fringe Festival will take place August 5th through the 15th.
