Bloomington will be hosting an event in July to teach professionals methods for reliability improvement and risk reduction.
The Reliability, Maintenance & Managing Risk Conference is an experience where quality and reliability practitioners, risk managers, and researchers can network and learn valuable information. The program will cover subjects like accelerated testing, software reliability, health management, and reliability modeling. Professionals are invited to submit an abstract on these topics to become one of the presenters for the conference. The chair of the program is Rong Pan.
Shelley Ford will be the keynote speaker for the event. She is the product safety officer for Collins Aerospace and has received several awards from NASA. Ford has attended multiple colleges, including Bemidji State University, the Florida Institute of Technology, and the Barry University School of Law. She worked on spacecrafts such as the Space Shuttle Endeavor and Space Shuttle Columbia. Ford also earned an award from the Society of Women Engineers.
The conference will take place on July 27th and July 28th, and the event will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Airport. A workshop will be available to join on July 26th led by David Auda. The course is about the three common types of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis. Companies that plan these conventions may use brochure printing to make itineraries for attendees.
