Bloomington autism organization to give parents a night out

Success On The Spectrum will hold an event in Bloomington where parents can leave their autistic children in a safe environment.

The Parents' Night Out is a special event that gives parents a break from childcare and provides a safe and fun experience for children with autism and their siblings. The employees who will look after the kids are all experienced in autism care and will lead the attendees through many activities. The event will include open gym sessions, crafts, and sensory activities. Only kids ages 2-13 can take part in the program. The venue will provide attendees with snacks.

Success On The Spectrum is an organization that was created by Nichole Daher in 2015. Daher is a mother who wanted to make a fun and safe environment where she could be involved with her daughter's growth. The group provides therapy services to kids and trains parents to become better caretakers. The organization has won several awards, like the Top 100 Healthcare Leaders Award and the Outstanding Organization Award.

The night out for parents is on Friday, February 9 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. There is no cost for parents to drop their kids off at Success On The Spectrum, though participants need to register in advance. Organizations that offer programs for parents like this may use flyer printing to advertise their events to more families.
