South Portland parents may want to save the date for an activity that will offer a convention-style celebration for young comic and culture fans at one of the city’s hotels.
Kids Con New England will be rolling out the welcome mat at the DoubleTree in South Portland. Table bookings and sponsorship packages are still available at the time of writing.
The function will bring together an assortment of artists as well as other creators, and there will also be workshops to sit in on. Kids can try their hand at Jedi training, and musical performances are also on the agenda. A sensory-friendly space will be on site, and costume contests, and a scavenger hunt will be included with the entry tickets.
