Oktoberfest returns to the Kentlands neighborhood in Gaithersburg for its 29th season next month. Up to 30,000 local area residents are expected to attend the one-day celebration of the fall season.
The 2021 festival will include many of the beloved attractions traditional to the event, including live performances of Bavarian dancing and music, a local small business exhibition, an arts and craft fair, and food trucks and vendors. Fall-themed activities for families with children will include pumpkin carving, demonstrations of apple pressing, and horse drawn wagon rides.
Past festivals have also featured a tasting package for the local cider, craft beer and mead producers on site, including Jailbreak Brewing Company, 7 Locks Brewing and the Dogfish Head Alehouse. Attendees may receive a souvenir tasting glass for use during the event. Often commemorative glasses, T-Shirts, and other souvenirs, are created by professional Print shops for events like this.

The 29th Oktoberfest will be held in Gaithersburg on Sunday October 10th from 12:00-5:00 PM. Admission to the festival is free, with free parking and shuttle services available for the public. The festival transforms the entire Kentlands Neighborhood with events located across the village green, on the Market Square and on Main Street, as well as at the Kentlands Mansion.
