The International Gem and Jewelry Show is coming to Gaithersburg.
InterGem hosts the country's first and longest operating jewelry exhibition that provides the product directly to the customer. Founded in 1967, it has been around for over 50 years. The Jeweler's Market is known internationally and allows designers, manufacturers, and sellers to congregate and work together to create unique items. InterGem shows focus on the most popular styles and jewelry crafting materials.
Customers will be able to peruse several lines of tables displaying beads, gems, and other jewelry items from local and international jewelers and craftspeople. They will see watches, engagement jewelry, hair accessories, and more. Exhibitors will be on hand to repair and clean jewelry as well as sell and trade items.
The Jewelry Show will take place in Building 6 of the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. The address is 16 Chestnut Street. There is parking at the fairgrounds.
Tickets are $6 online if ordered by October 21. At the door, tickets are $8 in cash. School staff, military members, and wholesale buyers get in free. Tickets are valid for all three days. Children ages 8 and under are not allowed to attend. There is also no photography permitted in the venue.
Jewelry will be on display at the fairgrounds October 23 from 12pm-6pm, October 24 from 10am-6pm, and October 25 from 11am-5pm.
Business card printing can help jewelers network with buyers by distributing their information through a portable medium.
