The Amazing Art Studio in Gaithersburg will host several art workshops at the end of December.
The workshops are part of the Winter Break 2020 session, which is geared toward kids. Each class is $48 per person, and registration is available on the company's website.
On the Monday, which is the first day, guests will paint a hedgehog on canvas and a hedgehog figurine. For Tuesday, guests will pick two interchangeable sets of hands to stick to paper gnomes and paint a gnome-shaped knickknack holder. They can choose hands holding a snowflake, tree, dreidel, candy cane, or present.
On Wednesday, the theme is the beach. Guests will paint surfboards on canvas and a box in the shape of a sandal. Rounding off the series, Thursday’s theme will be horses. Guests will copy a horse graphic design on top of a wooden board and paint a horse figurine.
All of the classes available will be taught in the studio, so there will be a temperature check before guests enter. Everyone must wear a mask. Guests can bring drinks, but food is prohibited for safety reasons.
Amazing Art Studio is located in the Downtown Crown center at 115 Crown Park Avenue. Open seven days a week from 12:30 to 7:30pm, it regularly hosts art workshops and walk-ins are welcome. For more information, email info@amazingartstudio.com or call 301-355-6830.
