The island of Puerto Rico was badly hit by a hurricane last season, and Gaithersburg will soon be coming together to raise funds to provide it with medical aid and other relief.
The activity has been planned that includes an evening of food and entertainment. All of the monies raised through the function will be used to provide medication and other medical relief. The event has been made possible through the support of a variety of pharmacist groups , pharmaceutical companies and community relief organizations.
The agenda for the occasion will see guests treated to a multi-course dinner that will be served at their table, and there will also be entertainment consisting of a variety of musical performances. A silent auction has also been planned, and the goal is for everyone who comes out to have a great time while helping people in need.
Tickets for the function start at $45.00 per person, and the price will increase as the date for the fundraiser draws closer. Special VIP seating is also being offered, and the ticket price for this is $60. Banner printing for this type of event can be provided by a printer in the local area which can work with the organizers to design decorations that are appropriate and fit in with the theme of the function.
