BroadCloud UC-One, from Gaithersburg-based BroadSoft Inc., has been named a winner of a 2016 Unified Communications Product of the Year Award.
The award was bestowed by TMC, a media company that helps clients build communities online and in Print and in person.
UC-One is BroadSoft’s first comprehensive mobile suite of unified communications that enables real-time communications services – such as enterprise instant messaging and presence, high-definition voice and video, and PBX – to be offered by service providers. UC-One allows service providers to offer unified communications to their business customers without the need for investment of capital.
According to chief digital and marketing officer of BroadSoft, Taher Behbehani, the company believes that this product helps to take the many scattered communications and fragmented workflows that adversely affect workforce productivity, and convert them into one collaborative and managed hosted service in the cloud.
The CEO of TMC, Rich Tehrani, added that BroadCloud UC-One is a truly innovative product and the company impressed the judges with its ability to create such groundbreaking work.
Internet Telephony magazine, produced by a well-known print company, will publish the winners of the Unified Communications Product of the Year Award for 2016 in its April issue.
BroadSoft provides software and services in the cloud so that Unified Communications can be provided to companies around the world by mobile, fixed-line, and cable service providers.
