An evening of mystery is on the way for Gaithersburg, and area residents have been asked to come and help solve the crime.
Kentlands Mansion and Arts on the Green have joined forces to offer an evening that its organizers hope will be as delicious as it is fun. The case involves the longstanding feud between the O’Rieley’s and the McFaddens over control of the Wild Irish Rose Whiskey company, and the guests will be asked to lend their sleuthing skills to figure out the mystery.
The event will be produced by A Taste for Murder Productions, and it will be an interactive occasion. Both local and regional acting talent will be featured, and it is open to anyone who is 18 years of age or over. A local printer can use poster printing techniques to create an assortment of large sized promotional materials for this type of function.
The ticket price includes visits to the dessert buffet as well as soft drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages. Those who would prefer something stronger will have access to a cash bar.
The dessert theater has been planned for the evening of March 16 and 17, and a matinee performance will also be held on March 18. Tickets are $35 each or $60 per couple, and more information can be found on the Gaithersburg website.
