The Chamber of Commerce in Gaithersburg-Germantown is about to host its annual Celebration Dinner and Awards Ceremony at the Hilton in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
The day will include a silent auction, dinner, and music, as well as the installation of the 2018 Board of Directors for the GGCC.
This event is considered by the Chamber to be a major networking opportunity, so businesspeople might bring a supply of their premium Business Cards to share with colleagues and potential business partners. A number of awards will be given out to local business community members, including the ‘You Made A Difference’ award, an award for small business of the year, and an award given to the young professional of the year. GGCC also grants scholarships to students in Montgomery County.
The event is also a chance for local businesses to get their brands recognized as event sponsors. Companies like Johns Hopkins University, Rodgers Consulting, Inc., and Pettit Companies are sponsors of the event, along with many others.
Attendees will hear a speech from Jud Ashman, and local government officials and business leaders within the county will also be attending.
The event is hosted at the Hilton on 620 Perry Parkway, and will begin at 6:00 pm tomorrow, December 7. Tickets are available at the Chamber of Commerce website, and further information about the event is available there too.
