The yearly SSURF Meeting is coming up fast. The event is a significant gathering of innovators, scientists, and individuals driving change, fostering the convergence of ideas.
This promises to be a good day to engage in informative discussions, engaging presentations, and explore opportunities for networking. Regardless of one's experience level, attendees have the chance to connect with successful individuals spanning various scientific research domains and leadership roles. Attendees can expect to meet private sector innovators, user administrators, federal agency officers, and many other types of researchers. Just like in previous events, the SSURF Annual event offers essential updates and insights into facilities and closely related fields of interest while fostering valuable relationships within the ecosystem for user facilities.
The agenda will encompass various subjects, including key updates from the National Science Foundation, the United States Department of Energy, and other relevant agencies. It will feature insights from facility and academic researchers, discussions on laboratory communications, operational projects, research security, facility updates, industry relationships, advocacy, legislative themes, and inclusion. Brochure printing could be used to showcase what topics an event like this intends to cover.
After several years in virtual form, this event is returning to an in-person format and will take place at the Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center for the first time. The event will be on Thursday, October 19 and it will run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
