Marine Corps renews contract with Serco
To support its services, The Psychological Health Outreach Program (PHOP) of the United States Marine Corps Reserve has awarded Serco Inc. with a one-year contract for a maximum of $16.3 million, with four one-year options.
PHOP was established to deliver a wide range of psychological health services to serve Reservists and their families.
The company provides professional, technology, and management services, focusing on the defense sector, and will offer various communications and behavioral health screenings to Reservists and their families to ensure they have the information and resources they need to enhance their state of wellness.
Devens is one place where these services will be performed, in addition to New Orleans; Kansas City, Missouri; Marietta, Georgia; and Ft. Lewis, Washington. The company has been a supporter of this program since it began in 2009.
According to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Serco, Dan Allen, the company is proud to be able to deliver these services to those serving in the military and their families, and is glad that it is able to continue to provide its assistance and expertise to those in the United States Marine Corps.
It may now be turning to local print companies to print flyers and brochures with more information about its services, and how those who have served in the military and their families can benefit from them.
