Veranova, a contract development and manufacturing company, has broken ground on a new facility in Devens on Patton Road.
This will add to the company’s existing resources in the amount of 9,000 square feet, allowing to expand its antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) and highly potent compound manufacturing and development. Included in the expansion will be two Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) suites and a process development laboratory.
There will also be another expansion to establish GMP manufacturing capabilities and state-of-the-art bioconjugation development at its site in Devens. These two expansions mean the company is investing more than $50m in the location, which will increase its capacity to produce ADCs and other bioconjugates. These expansions also are expected to create 70 new jobs, so locals may want to update their Business Cards and résumés.
Such sites often rely on banner printing to inform those in the community of expansions and their benefit for the local community and people at large.
The CEO of Veranova, Mike Riley, said that these new facilities represent the commitment of his company to supporting the company’s partners in the development and manufacture of life-saving and complex therapies. He added that enhancing the company’s capabilities in Devens will strengthen the domestic infrastructure for the production of critical medicines, while also investing in growth and innovation.
