Pharmaceutical company moves to Devens

Veranova now has a new headquarters in Devens. The company is a developer and manufacturer of complex and special APIs for the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.

Moves made by such companies often mean that stationery printers are needed for new letterheads, business cards, and other printed materials.

This will be one of the principal sites of the company for development and manufacturing and will build on the existing development and manufacturing capabilities of the company as well as address the growing demand for capacity in the United States for potent small molecules.

This site in Devens is a facility approved by the FDA and a center of excellence for development through commercial and clinical manufacturing of high potent APIs, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), phosphoramidites, and other complex small molecules. The company is spending $30 million to expand its development and manufacturing capabilities of ADCs and high potent APIS.

This investment is part of the strategy of the company to grow over many years to build a leading partner in development and manufacturing complex synthetic pharmaceuticals. Veranova also has locations in Cambridge, England; Edinburgh, Scotland; North Andover; West Deptford, New Jersey.

CEO of Veranova, Mike Riley, said this investment demonstrates the commitment of the company to providing state-of-the-art capabilities and capacity to enable next generation therapies to be made available for patients and is part of the company’s broader growth strategy.
