For those looking for a Valentine’s Day experience that’s a bit rowdier than most, Canton’s Waterfall Bar & Grille will be hosting a special dinner and concert on the day itself, with music provided by local folk duo Comfort Street.
The event will see a special Valentine’s Day menu set up by the restaurant, and a live performance of songs about all aspects of love. Comfort Street are known for their acoustic, Celtic-infused covers of popular songs. Relevant titles in their catalogue include “To Love Somebody”, “Stand By Me”, and U2’s “All I Want Is You.” The band, who have become tavern favorites in Boston and the south shore, is made up of Theresa Miller, who provides vocals and guitars, and acoustic bassist Mike D’Agostino.
With Valentine’s Day falling on a Friday this year, the celebration fits conveniently into Waterfall’s regular schedule of live music. Many bars, restaurants, and live venues will be looking to capitalize on this by offering events for both couples and singles, sometimes advertising through banner printing and Promotional Products. While the special menu has yet to be announced, Waterfall’s usual fare is American casual with some Irish influence, including dishes like roasted lemon-ginger salmon and “Boss Lady’s Baby Back Ribs.”
The “Valentine’s Day with Comfort Street” event will kick off at 8:30 PM on February 14 at Waterfall.
