The Metro South Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 11th Annual Multicultural Business Forum & Business After Hours event this March.
The evening starts with a business resources expo and time for networking. The expo will feature organizations that can help attendees with a variety of business issues, including making a business plan, marketing, securing financing and bidding for government contracts. Past exhibitors have included Brockton Area Transit, SCORE Mentors of Southeastern Massachusetts, and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The Women and Minority Owned Business Panel will start at 5:30 pm. Panelists will discuss how they have used their non-traditional backgrounds to reach new markets and make the most of the resources available in the region.
After the panel, there will be a networking reception starting at 6:15 pm. Chamber members often use business card printing services to prepare for networking events. Food and drinks will be available, and the resources expo will be open during the reception.
The event is open to both Chamber members and guests. The Metro South Chamber’s members include professionals and business owners from Canton and other towns in the region. Attendees can register on the Chamber’s website now – admission is free, but spaces are limited.
The event will take place on Thursday, March 5 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm, at Thorny Lee Golf Club in Brockton.
