Irish Cultural Centre to host cooking class

Boston Bakeology is hosting a themed cooking class at the Irish Cultural Centre in Canton this February.

Participants will make a Valentine’s Day-themed dinner and dessert. Irish cheese, crackers, and wine or a non-alcoholic alternative will be served as snacks during the event. Attendees will learn to make linguine from scratch as part of a pasta carbonara dish. They will also make chocolate lava cakes for dessert, which will be served with ice cream at the end of the evening. Participants can expect a hands-on class where they will learn to prepare the meal in small groups.

Those planning to attend should purchase tickets in advance through the Irish Cultural Centre’s website. The cost is $65 per person, plus Eventbrite fees. This covers all of the equipment and ingredients used during the class.
