The Paul Revere Heritage Site is hosting the 4th Annual Canton Heritage Festival this May.
The festival will feature more than 100 vendors, live music, activities for kids and other entertainment. Vendors will include local restaurants, sellers of handmade items and community organizations. Additional details will be available once the performer lineup is finalized. The Historic Barn, part of the Paul Revere Site, will also be open during the festival.
The application for anyone interested in participating in the festival is open on the Paul Revere Heritage Site’s website now. Businesses or organizations interested in sponsoring or hosting a vendor table, musicians and historical reenactors interested in performing and anyone looking to volunteer at the festival can all use this form. Applicants will hear from the organizers with additional details within one week of submitting their information. Current platinum sponsors include the Bank of Canton and Compass Realty, Canton. Towns often use flyer printing services to promote their community events.
The Historic Barn is one of two original buildings from the Revere Copper Company and hosts rotating exhibits. The free exhibit currently on display features copper artwork inspired by Paul Revere’s work, which used techniques like hammering, stamping and engraving.
The Canton Heritage Festival will take place on Saturday, May 17 from 10 am to 3 pm at the Paul Revere Heritage Site, rain or shine.
