The Young Professionals group of the Neponset River Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Boxing and Beers event this summer.
Participants will take a boxing class at Title Boxing Club. The class will be beginner-friendly and led by a professional instructor with experience in introducing people to the sport. Participants should wear comfortable athletic clothing and shoes. The Young Professionals group intends for the event to be a fun way for its members to try something new, so attendees do not need any specific equipment and can have any fitness level.
After the boxing class, participants will move to Castle Island Brewing, which is across the street from the boxing studio, for social time. Appetizers and beer will be served. Castle Island is a local brewery that offers a wide variety of beers with both permanent and seasonal lineups. Chamber of commerce members often use business card printing services to prepare for networking at this type of event.
Those planning to attend should sign up in advance on the Chamber’s website. The cost is $15 per member and $25 per guest. The Neponset River Regional Chamber’s members include professionals and business owners from Canton and other towns throughout the region.
The Boxing and Beers event will take place on Thursday, August 15 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Title Boxing Club in Norwood.
