Canton to celebrate annual Heritage Festival

Canton is hosting its annual Heritage Festival at the Paul Revere Heritage Site this spring.

The event will include food, games, and presentations on local history. Food options will include local food trucks, a farmers’ market, and some packaged snacks. There will be several family-friendly activities, such as face painting, outdoor games, and seeing live animals. A selection of vendors, including local artists and farmers, will sell their hand-made products.

Historians will give interactive presentations on Canton’s history, and there will be live music performances from local artists throughout the event. Local businesses and non-profit groups, as well as historical societies from around the region, will also have tables set up for attendees to learn about their organizations. Towns often use flyer printing services to promote their community events.

This is a free event, though there will be goods available for purchase. Onsite parking will not be available, but attendees can park for free at either the Canton Center or Canton Junction MBTA lots nearby. A shuttle service will be available between the festival and the Canton Junction lot, but trips will be limited. The festival will take place rain or shine, so attendees should dress for the weather.

Canton Heritage Festival will take place on Saturday, May 20, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, at the Paul Revere Heritage Site.
