Canton is hosting its Third Annual Heritage Festival at the Paul Revere Heritage Site this spring.
The festival is family-friendly and will feature a variety of entertainment activities. Food trucks will be open and other packaged and prepared food will be available for purchase. A picnic area will be available so attendees can sit down and eat. American Revolution-era historical reenactors will give both live performances and interactive demonstrations.
Attendees can also see live animals, participate in other children’s activities, enter raffles, and shop from a selection of local artists and crafters selling handmade goods. They can also visit the community tent, which will have tables from nonprofits and community organizations. Nonprofit groups often give out promotional Pens at this type of event.
The festival is free to attend and does not require registration. The organizers are still accepting applications for vendors and performers in most categories. Application Forms are available on the Paul Revere Heritage Site website. Those interested can also sign up to volunteer at different times throughout the day. Free parking will be available next to the site at the Canton Center MBTA Station. Both driving and parking directions are available on the event page.
The Third Annual Canton Heritage Festival will take place on Saturday, May 18 from 10:000 am to 3:00 pm, rain or shine.
