Stageworthy Drama is offering a series of week-long summer camps for children ages 7 to 17 during July and August.
There will be four sessions with different focuses, including acting, directing, and musical theater. Teens ages 13 to 16 can enroll as Directors in Training for a discounted rate in exchange for providing support and leadership for younger campers. Sessions one and two are suitable for all skill levels. Session three is designed for children with some acting experience. Session four is two weeks long and will focus on musical theater skills like choreography and singing. Those interested can visit Stageworthy Drama’s website for additional details.
Stageworthy Drama originated as part of Canton Community Theater and has been operating as a separate organization dedicated to helping kids make friends and find their favorite way to enjoy the theater since 2016. Arts businesses and organizations often use Graphic Design Services to create their marketing materials. The drama camp costs $275 per week-long session. Sibling discounts and payment plans are available. Space is limited, so participants need to register in advance. All campers need to be up to date on COVID vaccinations or have a documented medical exemption.
Drama camp will take place between July 11 and August 19 at Congregational Church of Canton. Sessions run Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
