The Irish Cultural Centre in Canton is hosting its annual Breakfast with Santa event this December.
The event will include breakfast, visits with Santa and several entertainment activities. Pancakes, coffee, bacon and Irish classics will all be on the breakfast menu. Each child will get to meet with Santa individually, and parents can take their own photos during the meeting. Santa will also give each child a gift.
Other activities will include crafts, ornament decorating and face painting. Dave Try, a South Shore-based solo musician, will perform throughout the event. Try plays a variety of genres but focuses on acoustic Irish music. There will also be a hayride through the grounds of the ICC, which include several buildings including a thatched roof cottage.
Tickets for the breakfast are available now through Eventbrite. The cost is $25 per person plus Eventbrite fees. Local institutions often use flyer printing services to promote their holiday events. The ICC is also hosting several other Christmas-themed events in December. These include a tree lighting ceremony, a holiday baking class, two Christmas concerts and a luncheon for seniors. Breakfast With Santa at the Irish Cultural Centre will take place on Saturday, December 7 from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm.
