The Irish Cultural Centre in Canton is hosting its 3rd Annual Galway Races Gala this July.
The Irish Cultural Centre’s young professionals committee is running the event. The evening will include live music, raffle drawings and horse racing. Cocktails and a buffet-style dinner will be served. Attendees are encouraged to wear fascinators.
Attendees should purchase tickets in advance through Eventbrite. The cost is $85 per person for general admission, $75 for attendees under age 25, and $,1000 for reserved seating at a table of 10. Eventbrite fees will be added to the ticket price. Those who opt for the under-25 rate will need to provide a valid ID at the event. Those who register as a group of 10 will be guaranteed seating with their group and will receive a gift at the gala. Organizers often work with Stationery printers to create table cards for this type of event.
The gala celebrates the Galway Races Summer Festival, which takes place in Ireland the week after the event. The festival includes horse racing, music, and fashion displays. The Irish Cultural Centre is dedicated to supporting Irish culture in the Greater Boston area through events, educational programs, and cultural activities.
The gala will take place on Saturday, July 29 from 5:30 pm to 11:30 pm at the Irish Cultural Centre.
