The Irish Cultural Centre in Canton is hosting a daylong St. Patrick’s Day event this March.
The event will include music, Irish dancing, food and vendor sales. Irish music performers, including Skeaf Bridge and Adam Hendy, will be on stage from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm. The specific schedule is available on the Eventbrite page. Dancers from Irish dance schools including Jackie O Riley Irish Dance, Greene O Leary Irish Dance, and more will also perform throughout the day. The Centre will serve corned beef and cabbage. Additional food and drinks from a limited pub menu will be available for purchase.
Vendors selling a selection of Irish products will also be available. Sellers include Eire’s Irish Gifts, American Irish Luck and Celtic Crests. These businesses sell items ranging from T-Shirts to customized family crest-embroidered pieces. Vendors often use banner printing and other Print services at this type of event.
Tickets to the event cost $20 per person and can be purchased on the Eventbrite listing in advance. Children under 12 can attend for free. The ticket cost covers all performances and access to the Cultural Centre’s pub and the vendor area. Wristbands for re-entry will be available.
St. Patrick’s Day at the Irish Cultural Centre will take place on Friday, March 17, from 11:00 am to 11:30 pm.
