The Irish Cultural Centre in Canton is hosting a family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day celebration this March.
The event will include several performances and kids’ activities. Traditional Irish band Strawberry Hill and Slainte will play, and multiple schools of Irish dance will perform. Face painters and balloon artists will be available, and children can complete Celtic-themed arts and crafts projects.
Attendees are encouraged to wear green or other festive attire. Food and beverages will be available for sale and are not included in the ticket price. Cultural organizations like this often use Graphic Design Services to create digital Flyers to promote their events.
Additional entertainment and activities, which are not specifically geared toward families, will continue through 9pm. These include more Irish music and dance performances and a pop-up Gaeltacht, or Irish Gaelic language session, at the ICC Pub. The pop-up is free to attend and open to language enthusiasts of any level, from curious beginners to fluent Gaelic speakers. Participants will learn new vocabulary and practice having conversations.
The Family St. Patrick’s Day event will take place on Saturday, March 16 from 11am to 5pm at the Irish Cultural Centre in Canton.
Tickets are on sale now through Eventbrite. The cost is $25 per adult and $10 per child. Children under three can attend for free.Get a Free Quote for Graphic Design Services Get a Free Quote for Flyers
