Brookwood Community Farm in Canton is hosting its annual spring Seedling Sale this May.
The Seedling Sale will give farm members and other Canton residents the opportunity to purchase plants for their homes, schools, or communities. This includes fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. All of the seedlings for sale were started in the farm’s greenhouse and are ready to be replanted in the spring.
Brookwood Community Farm is a working farm that offers spring and fall community supported agriculture (CSA) shares, educational programs, and community building activities. The farm has been active since 1994, and its CSA program includes more than 250 local families. It is also committed to providing fresh and affordable produce to underserved communities.
Parking during the sale will be limited, so additional parking will be provided at nearby Trinity Church. A shuttle between the sale and the parking lot will be available. For those looking for specific plants, Brookwood Community Farm will update its website events page with a list of the specific plants available closer to the sale date. Farms often use Stationery printers to share information about the plant species and care requirements with customers at this type of sale.
The Annual Seedling Sale will take place on Saturday, May 7, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and Sunday, May 8, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Get a Free Quote for Stationery
