The Neponset River Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 129th annual meeting this January.
The Neponset River Regional Chamber includes professionals and business leaders from several towns in eastern Massachusetts, including Canton. The meeting will feature guest speaker Jordan Maynard, who was appointed by the state treasurer to serve on the Massachusetts Gaming Commission in August 2022. The Commission is working to successfully implement the state’s new gaming law that will allow sports betting in 2023. Previously, Maynard served as Chief Secretary for the governor.
The event will include breakfast. Chamber members will elect their officers and directors for 2023. The event is open to both members and guests, and members are encouraged to bring someone. Those who do will be entered to win a restaurant gift card and a hotel stay.
Those planning to attend should register in advance on the Chamber website. The cost is $30 per person for members and $50 for guests. Attendees can also reserve tables for eight or ten people.
There are sponsorship opportunities available at several levels. Sponsoring organizations often use banner printing services to promote their businesses at this type of event.
The annual meeting and awards breakfast will take place on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 7:30 am to 9:00 am at the Four Points by Sheraton Norwood Hotel & Conference Center.
