The Neponset River Regional Chamber of Commerce is holding its 131st annual meeting this winter.
The event will include a speech from longtime local reporter Ted Reinstein. Reinstein has worked for WCVB Channel 5’s nightly news program Chronicle since 1995. He also joined WCVB’s editorial board in 2010. The Chamber will elect its officers and directors for the upcoming year. Several awards will also be presented. These will recognize the best individual businessperson, small business and large business of the year, as well as the winner of the Paul Smith Award for Outstanding Volunteerism.
Tickets are available now on the Chamber’s website. Both members and guests are welcome. The cost is $50 per member and $75 per non-member. Members can also purchase a table for 10 for $450. The Neponset River Regional Chamber’s members include professionals and business owners from Canton and other towns throughout the region. Sponsorships are also available. Depending on the sponsorship tier, the business’s names and logos will be featured on different marketing materials for the event. Organizations often work with Print shops to create these materials. Sponsorships all include a table for ten guests, and sponsors will all also be thanked verbally.
The 131st annual meeting will take place on Thursday, January 30 from 7:30 am to 9:00 am at the Four Points by Sheraton Norwood.
