The Canton Association of Business & Industry is celebrating its 50th anniversary with an event for its members and guests next week.
CABI’s anniversary celebration and annual meeting is intended to be a festive celebration of the organization’s history featuring food, drinks, trivia and dancing. Food stations will include popular dishes from the last five decades, and the drink menu will feature some retro cocktails. Each attendee will receive two drink tickets. Local presenter Jammin Wizard Mike Charles will be the DJ for the event and will also host a trivia competition. The evening will conclude with dancing. Like the food choices, the music will reflect highlights from the past five decades.
Individual tickets cost $100 per person. Businesses and organizations have the option to sponsor a table for ten guests for $1,200. All tickets should be purchased in advance on the CABI website by this Saturday, November 26. Sponsoring organizations often give out Promotional Products to advertise their businesses at this type of event. CABI’s goal is to foster connections among residents, government officials, and business leaders in Canton and make it a great place to do business. The organization hosts fundraisers, networking events, guest speakers, and social events for its members.
The 50th anniversary celebration will take place on Thursday, December 1, from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm at Blue Hill Country Club.
