Modern Party Art in Canton is hosting a February vacation camp this winter.
The camp is open to kids in kindergarten through eighth grade, and daily craft projects will be tailored to each participant based on age and artistic skills. Projects will include working with resin, making slime and toys and painting on canvas. Students will also receive lessons on artistic concepts and techniques before applying them to the specific project for the day. Participants can attend one, any or all of the days.
Registration is open now. Space is limited to 16 kids per day, so those interested should sign up as soon as possible. The cost is $75 per day or $300 for the full week. The fee includes all materials participants will use. Art camp will run from February 17 to 21, which lines up with the local public school vacation schedule, from 9 am to 3 pm. Campers should bring a lunch that does not need to be heated up. They should also wear clothes that can get messy because they will be working with materials like paint and glue. Water and snacks will be provided. Local businesses often use poster printing services to promote their seasonal programs.
