A Massachusetts law firm is hosting its annual update on employment law for several local chambers of commerce.
Business leaders from Canton and other nearby towns are invited to attend the Annual Employment Law Update. Several Eastern Massachusetts chambers of commerce – the South Shore Chamber, the Neponset River Regional Chamber, and the Quincy Chamber – are jointly hosting this event to help business owners in the area keep up with legal changes.
Attorneys from Murphy, Hesse, Toomey & Lehane, LLP will present four sessions throughout the morning. The firm’s lawyers have expertise in corporate transactions, labor and employment, and other practice areas relevant to chamber members. The sessions will cover updates to regulations and statutes, lessons from 2021 cases, best practices for managing remote hourly employees, hiring rules, and legal requirements around diversity and inclusion.
Those interested in attending should register in advance on the Neponset River Regional Chamber of Commerce website. Human resources professionals may be able to get continuing education credits for participating in the webinar.
