Voices of Hope, a theater group that does fundraising for cancer treatments, is now rehearsing in a new studio in Andover at the Ballard Vale Community Church.
Executive director of Voices of Hope, Dana Siegal, said the move from Lawrence to Andover was partially to find a new community. Siegal said that there were many challenges trying to find an identity in Lawrence. In addition, Siegal and a few other members of the group are from Andover and the group has ties to the community, having performed with the choir and chorus from Andover High School.
One of the major recipients of funds from the group is the Temeer Center at Mass General Hospital. Founder of the group, Greg Chastain, said this enables the group to directly see the benefits of their fundraising efforts. In addition, the group knows many of the doctors and nurses caring for the patients.
The group has a special Logo Design of a cardinal. For Chastain and the group, the cardinal is a songbird and are a universal symbol for those whom people have loved and often return for a visit.
Voices of Hope will be performing at the North Shore Music Theater in Beverly this Saturday April 23 and Sunday April 24. Their performance will be “A Grand Night for Singing! A Musical Review of Rodgers & Hammerstein.”Get a Free Quote for Logo Design
