Innovation Park in Andover has recently been acquired by IQHQ, Inc., a company specializing in life sciences and real estate.
The Park is on the 495 Corridor at 4 Corporate Drive and is a 200,000 square-foot campus. IQHQ plans to update the property with a redesign that will add a fitness center with indoor and outdoor workout areas, a first-class café with indoor and outdoor seating, and other improvements to common areas. Print shops can be hired to create Flyers and Brochures with more information about the redesigned spaces. TRIA Architects will be redesigning the site. The first tenants will be Ora, Inc. and UMass Lowell.
President of IQHQ, Tracy Murphy, said that this acquisition supports the vision of the company in Massachusetts as it expands outside of downtown Boston and into the life science and medical innovation cluster of Andover. Murphy added that the redesign will enable the campus to meet the needs of future tenants who are looking for high-quality lab and office space in the Greater Boston area.
IQHQ’s portfolio of assets includes an office building and laboratory near the Longwood Medical Area and a project called Fenway Center, a state-of-the-art development that will include retail space on the ground level, offices, and laboratories. This acquisition will complement such properties by meeting the demand for state-of-the-art office and laboratory space in the suburbs.
