Halloween party to be held for seniors

The North Andover Senior Center will be holding a great Monster Bash later this month. Seniors from Andover will also most likely want to attend this scary costume extravaganza.

Events such as this are often promoted throughout a community using poster printing services. This big party will be celebrating the Halloween season with music, dancing, costumes, and monsters. Pizza will be served as well as other treats, desserts, and pumpkin candy.

It will be an event for having fun with friends and winning prizes. DJ Mark, who is well-known in the Merrimack Valley area, will be providing the dance music.

A grant from the North Andover Cultural Council goes to support this party. The Council is a local agency supported by a state agency, the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

The mission of the Senior Center and the Council on Aging is to identify the needs of older adults, meet their needs regarding their health while also addressing cultural and social needs, improve their quality of life, encourage their independence to the greatest extent, and advocate for them in the community.

The Monster Bash will be held beginning at the bewitching hour of noon on Monday, October 28. Tickets are $3 each, which covers the cost of pizza and a drink. The event is limited to 60 seniors and is expected to sell out, so reservations are required.
