Cultural festival helps Baton Rouge shine
A cultural festival is coming to Baton Rouge next month to put Louisiana’s culture, history, and customs on display, and area residents are invited to attend for an immersive experience.
The Louisiana Cultural Music and Arts Festival is coming to Baton Rouge with the goal of showing off the art and music for which the state is famous. It will be the inaugural year of the festival, which is being organized by Sistars of Empowerment.
The organizers are aiming to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and family-friendly environment that brings out the heritage of the state while listening to music from local artists and musicians. The musical performances will cover several genres synonymous with Louisiana, including jazz, gospel, blues, and bounce. Poster printing is an effective way to promote such events and list all the artists and bands who have committed to play.
Guests can also check out the festival’s live demonstrations and cultural exhibits after sampling the food from the event’s vendors. The food offerings will all be themed and inspired by the state of Louisiana. A local marketplace will also be held to promote local artisans and small businesses.
The festival will be held at 233 St. Louis Street in downtown Baton Rouge. It is scheduled to start at noon and end at 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 7. Tickets are free, and donations are appreciated.
