Baton Rouge bar crawl explores citys history and culture

A memorable bar crawl experience is being planned in Baton Rouge for next month, providing interested parties with an evening on the town with friends.

The Baton Rouge Bar Crawl: Baton Rouge Goes Rogue, presented by Let’s Roam Scavenger Hunt Adventures, is now open for registration to interested parties who want to support the city’s small businesses while enjoying adult beverages. Organizers are hoping to provide Cajun-style fun where guests can enjoy beers on the bayou and explore the haunts of 3rd Street.

Attendees will have access to Tiger beers, a French Quarter-style dance floor, and several Irish pubs. It is also a chance to learn more about the city’s history as a center for the Civil Rights Movement and the only site in the United States outside of the 13 original colonies where a Revolutionary War battle was fought. Flyer printing is a low-cost way to promote such events and reach a broad audience through grassroots marketing tactics.

Participants will have an interactive role to play during the crawl. The role includes photo challenges and other games that add fun to the evening. The experience is self-guided and lasts around two hours.

The series will begin at the Bengal Tap Room in downtown Baton Rouge, with the first night scheduled for Saturday, November 1st, at 4:00 pm. Tickets are $14.99 per participant online.
